Minshuku Otobeso supports the capture of the Shigemo Peninsula by Michinoku Shiokaze Trail hikers

The southern part of Miyako City, Iwate Prefecture is a route that goes around the Shigemo Peninsula, and the distance is about 45 km (Tsugaruishi, Miyako City ~ Osawa, Yamada Town).

Looking at the distance alone, I think that if you work hard, you may be able to walk in two days, but there is Mt. Tsuki, which is 455m above sea level. In addition, there are many small ups and downs peculiar to this area, and it is difficult to walk at a higher speed than expected. In addition, it is an area that is far from the beaten path, has many trails with a high degree of nature, and has few public transportation services. In addition, there are few inns on the peninsula, and there are few stores and vending machines that can be replenished along the trail.

It seems that it is difficult to conquer the peninsula, so much so that one hiker said, "Whoever controls the peninsula (Shigemo Peninsula, Funakoshi Peninsula, Hakozaki Peninsula, Oshika Peninsula, etc.) controls the Michinoku Shiokaze Trail."

Therefore, at our inn, which is located in the Otobe area of the Shigemo Peninsula, the number of hikers staying has increased, and there have been more opportunities to hear various hardships, so we have prepared the following services for hikers so that you can enjoy walking on the Shigemo Peninsula as much as possible.

< guests only>

・ We will pick up and drop off from our inn to Shirahama bus stop in the north and Aneyoshi bus stop in the south. (In the meantime, we will consult with you.)

・ We will sell a lunch box for 660 yen (tax included). Please place your order at the time of booking.

・Breakfast will be served according to the departure time.

・Washing machines and dryers are available for a fee.

・ This is the stamp point of the "Michinoku Shiokaze Trail Hiking Passport".

<All hikers>

・We will sell behavioral food, beverages, and certificates of the easternmost point of Honshu.

(You may be absent, so please contact us at least one week in advance.) )

While using the above services, we also created a model course to capture the Shigemo Peninsula. In both cases of going south or north, it is easier to walk with a minimum of luggage when climbing Mt. Tsuki, which is 455 meters above sea level, so we stay at our inn before climbing Mt. Tsukiyama so that we can walk with less luggage. (Created in cooperation with Jodo Hiwa)
